Lions Pat and John Garoppolo presented with the Melvin Jones award, the highest award in Lionism.
June 15, 2021, Pat and John Garoppolo were presented with the Melvin Jones award for their dedicated humanitarian services, specifically for their creation and running of the Fenix Memorial bowling tournament for the benefit of the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. The first tournament was held in 1997 and has been continually ran for 23 years (except 2020). John and Pat’s tournament has raised over $250,000 for Fidelco over their years of hard work.
